A really striking basil with purple flowers growing in a flat inflorescence. Stems are purple and leaves are deep green. Strong anise-licorice flavour, great for stir fries, salads, fresh in Vietnamese noodle soups and in curries. Also dries nicely with good flavour for winter cooking. .
