Radiant scarlet papery blooms with black eyes stand above fuzzy, coarsely-cut leaves. A beautiful flower, it is a must in the ornamental garden. Direct sow the seeds in fall or early spring. Hardy annual, but may naturalize in milder climates. Approximately 60-90cm (2-3 feet) tall. Full sun to part shade.
