Tithonia rotundafolia. These brilliant orange flowers are more like zinnias than sunflowers. 8-10cm (4”-5”) blooms on 120 cm (4’) tall plant, attract butterflies & hummingbirds because of the intense colour. Blooms mid summer till the frost. Likes it hot and dry like it’s homeland. Plant seeds ½ cm (¼”) deep and 12 cm (6”) apart. Full sun, annual. Pollinator friendly.
