One of the most amazing varieties for both colour and taste! A great slicer for sandwiches. Fruit is deep-reddish brown inside, with gorgeous orange and lime stripes outside. Very sweet, but has a full, rich flavour; it places highly in taste tests. Fruit is medium-large, and a slightly flattened globe shape. To reduce chances of cracking, make sure you water consistently (we recommend not too often, but deeply). First bred by John Siegel, it rose to fame through the Seed Savers Exchange.
