Phaseolus vulgaris. A rich, flavourful, black bean. This French heirloom has purple-striped green pods, which turn yellow as they dry. Average pod is 10 cm long and contains 5 large, round, shiny black seeds. The plants grow up to 40 cm and are drought and cold tolerant with good disease resistance.
