Organic Strawflower 'Purple-Red'

We like to call this charming flower “Midnight Magic”! It's a gorgeous deep, rich burgundy with a sunny, golden centre. It is mostly grown as a cut flower; when cut young and dried, the open flowers and stalks preserve their colour and shape for long periods. Start indoors 4 weeks before last frost or seed directly in the garden in late spring. Grows to approximately 45cm (18in) in height and width. Sometimes slow to germinate. Be patient - it's worth it!
