Organic Salt and Pepper Cucumber

We like to eat pickling cucumbers fresh in salads for their size and flavour. This variety produces high yields of 8-13 cm (3-5") long pickling type cucumbers. The pale yellow skinned fruit are some of the tastiest cucumbers we have ever had - sweet and no bitterness. Excellent for fresh eating and for pickling. Makes astonishingly good bread and butter pickles! Bred by Jason Cavatorta and Molly Jahn, Cornell University. 2011 Green Thumb Award Winner.
