Urban Harvest
Organic Fish Hot Pepper
A pre-1870’s African American heirloom. Some plants are green, but on others the foliage is beautiful, variegated green and white. Stocky plants produce quite stunning striped 2-3” fruits. We had green ones with white stripes, turning to orange with brown stripes and even when finally red, the stripes are still faintly visible. One of our favourite hot peppers in the garden last summer. Used in seafood dishes when green, or makes a fabulous mild chili powder when red!
80 days from transplant. Approximately 50 seeds.
