The flesh of the Blue Hubbard is deep orange, dense, starchy and has the nutty, sweet taste of a sweet potato. This Baby Blue was developed by  the University of NH in 1953 for home gardeners, as the fruit average 6lbs and have a smaller vine. The hard, blue-gray shell helps these keep for long periods in storage. Great variety for fall decorations as well as eating.
