Organic Mibuna

Brassica rapa var nipposinica

This unusual Japanese green requires very little preparation. It grows much like mizuna but with rounded leaves. Plants grow to about one foot tall and produce tight clusters of long, narrow, rounded dark green leaves with white stems.

Enjoy its light mustard flavor in a salad or as a side dish, lightly cooked and seasoned. The leaves are also excellent for pickling. Try picking fresh, chopping into a pot of rice just before it is finished cooking. Slow to bolt. 200 seeds
