Organic Corn Ashworth Sweet

An early open pollinated corn with old fashioned flavourful plump ears approximately of 12-14 cm (6-7”). Fred Ashworth of St. Lawrence Nurseries originally named this variety “Rat Selected” for the rodents that always chose these kernals above all the others in his barn. Smart rodents. Harvest on time for optimum quality. Plant in a square pattern for maximum production. Corn likes to cross-pollinate. Full sun.     65-75 days for fresh corn.
