Organic Chiogga Beet

The candy-stripe beet with concentric circles of red and white are both beautiful and tasty. Mild green beet tops. Cook whole and slice for a real eye-catching dish. Extraordinary when roasted.

Sow as soon as the soil can be worked 2 cm-6 cm (1” to 3”) apart and 1 cm (½”) deep. Water well. To store, keep beets in cool damp sand or sawdust. 

Heirloom variety introduced in North America  in 1840.  1.65g/Approximately 160 seeds.
