This is an Italian heirloom broccoli. The tender stems, buds, and flowers have a wonderfully delicate slightly bitter broccoli flavor which can be stir-fried with a little garlic or steamed. Likes cool weather so sow the seeds in the very early spring or wait until late summer for a fall crop. Harvest just before the flowers open.
