Organic Merveille de Quatre Seasons Lettuce

Buttercrunch type. The leaves are a creamy yellow to light green colour and are tipped with a beautiful reddish-bronze colour on the outer leaves, pale blond green tight heart, 30-40cm (12-16 inches) in diameter. Excellent flavour even in hot weather but bolts in the heat. Merveille des Quatres Saisons, is an old French heirloom lettuce that was originally introduced commercially 1885.
