Also known as Speckled Troutback, and Forellenschluss. This early, open pollinated romaine type lettuce has glossy green, semi-savoy leaves with maroon splashes. Heat tolerant and very showy. Lettuce grows well near cabbage, beets, carrots, chives, garlic, and onion.
