This broccoli relative is also known as ”Cavolo Broccolo a Getti di Napoli” or “Cima di Rapa” and originates, unsurprisingly, from Italy! Unlike many Italian greens, spigarello is mild and tender tasting. We suggest quick steam, saute, or citrus massage to bring out its best qualities. It really is like a kale that just happens to taste like broccoli!
Plant these broccoli seeds 1 cm deep and 30-60 cm apart. Mulch to keep soil moist, especially while germinating. Lack of water will stress the plants and make them susceptible to disease. Sow directly in the fall for an early spring crop. 0.3g/ Approximately 200 seeds
