Always voted the best tasting of the zucchinis.  It has a nutty flavor and very good texture. The texture remains smooth even when it gets bigger than other varieties. It produces many male blossoms too for cooking. Its ribbed appearance is quite distinctive. In Italy it is picked at 12 cm (6”) or smaller with the flowers still attached and fried whole.  54 days
