One of the darkest carrots available, dark purple to the core. A delicious raw or cooked carrot that is so dark, it can also used as a dye. Acording to Baker Creek, "Makes a stunning dark puple drink when juiced, and when a squeeze of lemon is added, turns bright pink". It retains its colour after cooking too and is very high in anthocyanins. Carrot juice never sounded so good!!!
