C. virginiana. Small white flowers on vining plant to 5 metres or 16 feet. Found at edges of woods, clearimgs and wet areas. It makes a delicate vining plant to climb trees or trellises. Fluffy seeds heads persist into winter. It likes cool roots and dislikes acid soils. In some locales this vine re-seeds aggressively, so place it carefully and, come autumn, enjoy its gorgeous scent and beauty. Seeds are sometimes slow to germinate-- bottom heat will help. Eastern North American native plant. Sun to part shade. Approximately 40 seeds.
